Welcome to Strong Towns Fort Collins, a Local Conversation dedicated to building a more resilient, human-scaled city. We believe that by focusing on incremental, community-driven improvements, Fort Collins can grow in a way that serves people, not just automobiles. Our work centers on:

Incremental Development – Pursuing small, self-funding projects that adapt to changing needs and build momentum block by block.
Safe, Complete Streets – Designing streets where everyone—pedestrians, cyclists, transit riders, and drivers—can move safely and comfortably.
Housing Diversity – Advocating for a range of housing options, from missing-middle homes to accessory units, so people of all incomes can call Fort Collins home.
Connected Neighborhoods – Championing walkable networks and reliable transit to strengthen local businesses, reduce sprawl, and foster community cohesion.
