Our next Bus and Brew is right around the corner, and we’d love for you to join us.

On Saturday, April 11 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM, we’re hitting the MAX line for our bi-monthly transit pub crawl – an afternoon of local beer, great conversation, and a firsthand look at how Fort Collins moves (or doesn’t) along one of its key transit corridors.

What is Bus and Brew?

Bus and Brew is a casual, recurring event where Strong Towns Fort Collins members and curious newcomers ride the MAX bus together, stop at local breweries along the route, and talk about what makes our city tick. We look at land use, transit access, and what it would take to make Fort Collins a stronger, more resilient place – all over a pint or two.

Whether you’ve been thinking about urbanism for years or you’ve never ridden a Fort Collins bus before, this is a low-pressure, fun way to get involved.

The Route

We’ll be making three stops along the MAX line:

Gilded Goat Brewing (Old Town) ➔ Maxline Brewing ➔ Zwei Brewing

Each stop is a chance to grab a drink, meet some new people, and see a different part of the city from a transit rider’s perspective.

• Cost: Totally free, except the beer (and so is the bus – Transfort is free to ride!)

No Need to Rush

One of the best things about this event is that you don’t have to stress about timing. During the event (3:00 – 6:00 PM), the MAX runs every 10 minutes, so hopping between stops is a breeze. Note that after 6:00 PM, service frequency is reduced to ~20 minutes, so check the current MAX schedule if you plan to linger.

Bus and Brew happens on the second Saturday of every even-numbered month (February, April, June, and so on), so even if April doesn’t work for you, there’s always a next one. But we hope to see you on the 11th.
